About Attorney Connor
For many of the people who come to ARC Legal Services, immigration law is not abstract. It is personal. It is family. It is the future.
That is something Attorney Arzoo R. Connor understands deeply, not only as an immigration lawyer, but through her own lived experience.
Born in Pakistan and raised in an immigrant family, Attorney Connor personally experienced the challenges, uncertainty, and emotional weight that come with navigating the U.S. immigration system. Those experiences shape how she practices law today - with clarity, honesty, and an understanding that behind every case is a real life depending on the outcome.
Attorney Connor earned her Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law, where she served as a Staff Writer for The Scholar: St. Mary's Law Review on Minority Issues. During law school, she worked directly with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), handling asylum matters, fiancé visas, and marriage-based petitions, giving her early insight into how immigration decisions are made behind the scenes.
After law school, Attorney Connor served as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer in the United States Air Force. Her time in JAG gave her a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to legal advocacy and a deep respect for service, ethics, and accountability. While stationed in Japan, she met her husband, a U.S. Air Force Commander and today they are raising their family in Fort Worth, Texas, where they are active in the community and rooted in the city they call home.
At ARC Legal Services, Attorney Connor represents individuals and families in a wide range of immigration matters, including family-based immigration, DACA renewals, naturalization, deportation defense, and crimmigration issues. She also assists clients with estate planning, helping families protect what they have worked hard to build through wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and guardianship. For many of her clients, securing their immigration status and protecting their estate go hand in hand, and Attorney Connor is one of the few attorneys in Fort Worth equipped to address both.
Clients often describe Attorney Connor as calm, direct, and thorough, someone who explains complex legal processes in plain language and never treats a case like just another file. She believes strong legal representation starts with trust, honest communication, and making sure clients understand their options before making decisions that affect their future.
Attorney Connor is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and her and the ARC staff are multilingual in English, Spanish, Urdu, and Hindi, allowing them to serve a diverse community with care and cultural understanding.
